The Proctor & Gamble Singapore Innovation Center
The Procter & Gamble Singapore Innovation Center (SgIC) is one of Singapore’s largest private-sector research and development facilities, focused on developing consumer products for global P&G brands such as Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Olay, SK-II, Febreze, Vicks, and Pampers.
Innovation Focus
SgIC supports “end-to-end consumer goods innovation,” from scientific discovery to packaging and consumer testing. It also plays a major role in P&G’s digital transformation and AI-enabled product development.
SgIC opened in 2014 at Singapore’s Biopolis research hub. The facility spans roughly thirty-two thousand square meters and includes hundreds of advanced laboratories for a wide array of topics, including:
- Skincare
- Haircare
- Healthcare
- Fragrances
- Fabric and home care
- Robotics
- VR and digital technologies
- Consumer research and analytics
Talent and Research
The center employs scientists and engineers from more than twenty-five countries and collaborates with Singapore institutions including the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), National University of Singapore, and Nanyang Technological University.
