Marina Bay Sands: A Retail Store Tours Top Ten Innovative Company in Singapore

Marina Bay Sands is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Singapore and among the world’s best-known integrated resorts. Opened in 2010 and developed by Las Vegas Sands, the complex combines luxury hospitality, entertainment, retail, business convention space, and gaming into a single waterfront destination.

Shopping at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is a lavish lifestyle experience rather than a traditional mall visit. Located inside the resort, it combines high-end retail, architecture, dining, entertainment, and waterfront views into one of Southeast Asia’s premier luxury retail destinations.

You can explore this remarkable facility that exemplifies the future of retail with Retail Store Tours—expert-led, highly curated walking experiences that will show you Marina Bay Sands’ most innovative stores, all in just two hours.

What makes the shopping experience at Marina Bay Sands distinctive:

  • The mall spans roughly eight hundred thousand square feet with more than 170 luxury and premium boutiques, plus restaurants and lifestyle concepts.
  • It’s known for flagship and duplex stores—many among the largest in Singapore—from brands like Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, Cartier, Rolex, and Louis Vuitton.
  • The atmosphere is intentionally theatrical and upscale: marble walkways, high ceilings, natural daylight, canal water features, luxury lounges, and polished concierge-style service.

A major draw is the world-famous floating Louis Vuitton Island Maison, built inside one of the glass Crystal Pavilions on the waterfront. Another architectural highlight is the floating Apple Marina Bay Sands store, the only Apple store globally that sits entirely on water.

What’s Next at Marina Bay Sands

Currently a three-tower facility fronting Singapore’s Marina Bay, a massive expansion project will add a fourth building, often called “the fourth tower,” to the existing resort. The new tower, a fifty-five-story ultra-luxury hotel with more than five hundred suites, is intentionally separate from the existing structure rather than a direct extension. The new rooftop Skyloop will feature pools, gardens, restaurants, and observation areas as well as a fifteen-thousand-seat entertainment arena.

With an estimated completion date of 2031, this remarkable development is budgeted to cost US$8 billion. The expansion is designed by Moshe Safdie and Safdie Architects, the same team behind the original Marina Bay Sands.
