Nicole Mozeliak, Chief Operating Officer
Nicole Mozeliak is an accomplished, diversified leader with a demonstrated ability to lead global brands to operational, managerial, and fiscal success. She is masterful at leading cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines that include operations, finance, marketing, supply chain management, and human resources.
In her role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of American Dream, she oversees the company’s attractions and retail divisions that include its operations, marketing and sales, safety and security, parking/traffic, guest experience, tenant services, human resources, and events departments.
From 1996-2009, she held various management roles at Starbucks Coffee Company, rising to the role of Regional Director of Operations, where she led a team of eight district managers with a portfolio of 47 stores that generated $73 million in annual revenue. Following this, she was V.P. of Operations/Revenue Management-North America for Zipcar, and was part of its successful acquisition by the Avis Budget Group. From 2017-2019, she served as S.V.P. of Operations for the United States, Canada, and Israel markets at WeWork, where she was responsible for $2 billion in revenue with an annual operating budget of $500 million. Prior to joining American Dream, she served as COO for Domio, where she created “The Domio Difference,” the first-ever set of post-COVID apartment-hotel cleanliness standards that exceeded CDC guidelines.
Nicole is a proud native of New Jersey, where she resides with her family. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, where she received her B.S. degree in Hospitality Management. She serves on the university’s Board of Directors for its International School for Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Innovation Award
American Dream embraced “learning together to recover faster” by teaming up with Hackensack Meridian Health in the development of an extensive health safety plan for the reopening of the property. The partnership includes an on-site urgent care center as well as a new community health and wellness hub for guests and employees. "As we continue to navigate through this unprecedented time, our goal is to make American Dream a safe and comfortable environment for families to visit," said American Dream CO-CEO Mark Ghermezian.
